Over the past weeks we reorganized the onWebChat plans. There are now three of them, Free, Pro and AI agent, and the AI chatbot has become a plan of its own instead of a feature hidden inside another plan.
If you are already paying us, that sentence probably raised one immediate question: what does this cost me? The answer is nothing, and this article exists mostly to explain exactly why, and what you gain from the change.
The old structure had one paid plan, Pro AI, which technically included the AI chatbot but did not include the AI credits needed to actually run it. So the plan said "AI" on the box, and then you had to buy credits separately before a single visitor could talk to the bot. It was a fair price, but it was a confusing thing to explain, and it made the AI chatbot feel like an afterthought rather than a product.
The AI chatbot has since grown into the reason many people sign up: it answers around the clock, it syncs your WooCommerce or OpenCart catalog automatically, and it looks up real order status for your customers. That deserves its own plan, with conversations included in the price, so you know what you are getting before you start.
Still free, still forever. One seat, unlimited chats, one year of chat history, triggers, typing insights, file sharing and departments.
The plan for your human team, priced per seat: $8 per seat per month, dropping to $7 with semi-annual billing (12% off) and $6 with annual billing (25% off). It adds white label, unlimited chat history, operating hours, visitor history, webhooks and the AI writing tools on top of everything in the Free plan.
The plan for the chatbot: $17 per month, including 1 seat with all Pro features and 200 AI conversations every month. It answers visitors 24/7 even when nobody is online, syncs your products automatically, and tracks orders. You can take it on its own, without Pro, or add it to an existing Pro subscription. If you need more than 200 conversations in a month, you buy a credit pack and it never expires.
We did not reprice a single existing subscription, and we are not planning to. Whatever you agreed to when you subscribed is what you keep paying, renewal after renewal. Some of our customers have been with us for years on prices we no longer offer to anyone, and they will keep those prices.
The same is true of your features. If your current plan gives you the AI chatbot, white label and unlimited history, it still gives you all of them.
Your old price is tied to your active subscription, not to your account. If you cancel your subscription, or if you change the subscription itself, for example by changing the number of seats, the subscription is set up again at whatever the current published prices are, and we cannot bring the old price back afterwards.
So if your current setup works for you, the safest move is simply to leave it alone.
This is the part that is genuinely new for long-standing customers. On the old plans the AI chatbot came with no conversations included, and every credit had to be purchased. On the new AI agent plan, 200 conversations a month are part of the price.
We did not want customers who were with us before that plan existed to be the only ones paying for every single conversation. So if you are on an older subscription and you use the AI chatbot, we now add 30 free AI credits to your account every month, while you keep your old price.
These free credits refresh once a month on your own renewal date, and unused ones do not carry over. Credits you buy yourself behave differently: those never expire and simply sit in your balance until they are used.
For anyone subscribing today, the Pro plan is $8 per seat per month billed monthly, $7 per seat per month billed every 6 months, and $6 per seat per month billed annually, with volume discounts as you add seats.
The AI chatbot moved out of the per-seat plan and into the AI agent plan at $17 a month, with 200 conversations included. Credit packs were repriced at the same time: a pack of 200 credits went from $6 to $7.50, and the larger packs went up proportionally, up to 10,000 credits for $260. All of this applies to new subscriptions and new purchases. None of it applies retroactively to a subscription you already have.
One wording change as well: the people on your team are now called seats, because AI agent now means the chatbot and "3 agents" had become ambiguous. Nothing changed in the product, only the names.
Usually not, and we would rather say so plainly than sell you something you do not need. If you are on an older plan, you are almost certainly paying less than the current prices, and you now get 30 free AI conversations a month on top. Staying where you are is the better deal in most cases.
Signing up is still free and still needs no credit card. You start with a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan with the AI agent included, plus 50 AI credits, so you can watch the chatbot handle real conversations on your own site before deciding anything. If you do not subscribe when the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan and your widget keeps working.
You can see everything side by side on the pricing page, or create your free account and try it.
Plans change as products grow, and long-time customers are usually the ones who pay for that. Not here: you keep your old price, and you get the new AI credits as well.
